My interest for visual arts began in high school, impressed by the cultural surroundings
and taking the first steps towards art history and visual aesthetics.
The first interaction was with photo film cameras, developing my own shots. Later, I
had the opportunity to work with film stock, both 16 and 35mm, black and white and
colour. This experience made me very aware of the framing, lighting, movement and
camera settings being very responsible before hitting the record button and has given
me the ability to easily handle any digital cameras and formats and mastering different
workflows with different codecs, from acquisition to delivery.
The projects I got involved addressed many subjects requiring different lighting
scenarios, optical choices and image formats as well as different technical broadcast
requirements. This added great gains to my experience pool and honed valuable skills
like good communication and comprehension of other team members needs.
Developing and moving upwards on the workflow stack, I took a professional interest in
colour grading, adding it to my skillset and making this my main focus alongside being
a director of photography.
My intention is to use this know-how in cinematography and colouring, as the two areas
complement each other well, giving impressive production results.
An honest working collaboration means opportunities for professional growth, in an
environment where my skill set can be of important value for the team
